3 long medium cucumbers or 2 large ones
1 medium banana
0.5 small papaya or ¼ large
hot pepper to taste
¼ lemon or 1 lime

  1. Peel the cucumbers, cut the hard part into noodles and squeeze out
  2. Add lemon/lime juice to the cucumber noodles
  3. Meanwhile, mash the banana with a fork and finely chop the hot pepper with a knife
  4. Add the mashed banana and chopped pepper to the cucumber noodles with lemon
  5. Put the resulting noodles in a sieve and let sit for 10-15 minutes to drain all the liquid
  6. Meanwhile, cut the papaya into pieces about 2 cm
  7. Put the noodles from the sieve into a beautiful dish and decorate with papaya pieces

Life hacks:

  • choose papaya that is not too soft
  • when cutting cucumber noodles, do not use the soft watery part with seeds, but only the hardest part
  • the more liquid that drains into the sieve from the noodles, the tastier the noodles will be. Take your time, let it sit
  • you can skip the step with squeezing the noodles, but you can't skip the step with the sieve
