Yes, ideally I share the philosophy of pure fruitarianism. I believe that if you have access to quality fruits and the absence of serious pathologies in the functioning of the body's systems and organs, there is no need to add anything other than fruits to your diet

Since 2013, I have been eating only fruits and greens, since the summer of 2022 - only fruits

What led you to this way of eating, what inspired you?
In my case, several important factors played a role. Health problems greatly distracted me from spiritual practice, which was a priority. The search for solutions to these problems led to species-specific nutrition, in addition, the bonuses from this nutrition perfectly covered my needs regarding spiritual practice (less hours needed for sleep, clear consciousness, calm mind). Later, it became clear to me from the knowledge and experience gained that it was not just about nutrition. It was about a deep understanding of your true nature on a physical level

And what continues to inspire now?
I have always been and continue to be inspired by two categories. These are love and knowledge, understanding. Deep in every living being there is a need to love and know what you love. My lifestyle is an expression of my love. For myself first of all, for what I really am. This lifestyle does not become an insignificant routine for me, because it reflects a daily confirmation of my understanding of myself, my place in the world in which I live, is an act of genuine love for what I am

What difficulties did you have on this path?
For me, the main problem was the lack of access to high-quality organic fruits in the winter and spring seasons. Over time, my husband and I learned to solve this issue, although not quite ideally, but this is quite enough to feel great

When you changed your diet, what changed in your life - in your self-perception, in your personal environment, in the social sphere, at work?
On the one hand, everything changed, and on the other - nothing. It sounds strange, but it is so. Since the axis of my life was and is spiritual practice, the change in diet only deepened and expanded my understanding of some aspects of my existence. There is definitely even more love, compassion, empathy.
Regarding the social sphere, I have been leading a very closed lifestyle for a long time with very selective personal contacts, so little has changed. I am always open to communication with any people regardless of their type of nutrition, since a clean type of nutrition does not always correlate with a truly high level of awareness in the understanding that resonates with me

What has changed, what has become better or worse. How did you feel physically before and now?
Now I can call myself a happy owner of health and well-being, which I did not have even at 18 years old. A lot of chronic problems that have haunted me since childhood have been resolved. Now there are no complaints about health. The body is very hardy, full of energy, the psyche is more than stable. In general, there have been improvements in all areas. I can especially note the work of the brain. I was engaged in simultaneous translation, and this is a very energy-consuming activity for the brain, and the difference is huge. On fruits, the brain works like a rocket

How was the period of transition to fruits at the very beginning? With what diet did you decide to become a fruitarian? In one day or was this path stretched out?
I switched to a diet of fruits and greens after a short period of raw food, before that I was a vegetarian for several years. The transition in my case was "one day" after reading the book by Douglas Graham "Diet 80/10/10". For me, it was as if everything fell into place, finally, and I did not put it off. There was a detox, of course, but it was quite bearable, since when I switched to a raw food diet, I unknowingly went through various cleansing procedures that I would not go through now

What is your deep motivation to stay on fruits or your type of food?
As always, love. Deep love for my nature, for what I am, understanding my place in the world, understanding my connection with all living things on this beautiful planet, which I now call home

What advice would you give to people who want to switch to fruits, but do not dare or do not succeed?
Perhaps the main advice is to truly deeply and honestly understand the motive that drives a person on this path. Playing the long game on this path in my opinion means deeply understanding your true "why" and "so that what". This is the first priority. And then it is very important to collect quality information on this issue in order to bring yourself good, not harm on this path. Knowledge is necessary. You can go through purely empirically, but this path has a lot of pitfalls and for people with serious health problems, this can be a decisive factor not in favor of fruits. This is the second. The third I would call support and communication. For most people, this is extremely important and is almost a decisive factor. Therefore, a community in which there is both knowledge and support is very important

Your favorite fruit recipe or favorite fruits
I eat in a mono mode with very rare exceptions. I look forward to each season, because it brings its gifts, and I love each one. But if you have to choose, then for me the best are oranges and mangoes

I would like to add that the most important thing, despite the importance of nutrition and lifestyle, is not to get hung up on it. The human being is unique. Only a person has such a complex neural system that allows self-reflection and self-awareness. Strive with all your might to know who you really are on all levels (physical, mental, spiritual). This will bring true satisfaction and harmony to your life. Knowing yourself and living in accordance with this knowledge gives birth to incredible love, which can transform everything around. With all my heart I wish everyone on this path to truly find their true Self!
