What are your hobbies in life, how do you like to spend your time?Dancing, calisthenics, weight training, walking, traveling, cinema, video games
What field are you working in now, what do you do?I work and develop in the field of dance: I dance, teach, choreograph numbers. My favorite direction is Electrodance. Recently, I have been traveling abroad to work as a contract dancer in various shows. This activity allows me to combine traveling and my favorite work
Do you share the philosophy of fruitarianism, even if your diet now does not consist only of fruits?Of course, fruitarianism is the diet of the future! I, like no one else, have felt all the delights of this diet on my own skin with my activities and lifestyle in general
What type of diet do you currently adhere to, do you drink water? Now I eat only fruits and do not drink water
Since what year / month have you been on this type of diet?Since November 1, 2023
What led you to this way of eating, what inspired you?Firstly, I was inspired by myself, because since childhood I had a great love for fruits, and critical thinking and strong intuition pushed me to choose a healthier and better quality life. Secondly, I was very inspired by the books of Vadim Zeland, such as "Reality Transurfing" and others, which I listened to in audio format more than once. Thirdly, other fruitarians, of whom there are more and more in my circle, with their impressive experience and amazing achievements in all spheres of life
And what continues to inspire now?Yes, everything is the same as before, only I have already had enough of transurfing, perhaps. Plus, I am very inspired by the changes that happen to me when I eat fruits, starting from excellent health and a strong healthy body and ending with freedom from prejudices about micro-, macronutrients and other stereotyped judgments. I am also very inspired by new people in my circle who show a lively genuine interest in the topic of fruit eating, appreciate, listen and thank me for the experience and knowledge that I share with them.
What difficulties did you have on this path? You can write memoirs about the difficulties on this path. I will describe the hardest experience in my life related to the transition to fruitarianism (FE)
It was at the beginning of the path, when I first switched to fruits. Before that, I had a smooth transition from a traditional diet of everything, including animal products, to vegetarianism, veganism and raw foodism. Already on vegetarianism, I began to lose weight a lot, and on FE I reached the peak weight of the minimum weight. It was impossible to hide this and the environment gave a response in the form of anxiety, condemnation, hate, etc. Despite this, I continued to eat fruits for about 3 months, until one day at an acroyoga seminar I got a compression fracture of the spine
I was so depressed and disappointed in this topic that I succumbed to the influence of society and with great reluctance decided to switch back to a traditional diet. I needed to recover and rehabilitate as quickly as possible, so I ate a lot and trained a lot. It was very hard, both externally and internally. The body was rebuilding itself again, getting cluttered and wearing out, and it was saved only by training, healthy optimism and the belief that it would be better for everyone.
Since then, the previous FE experience still haunted me: I could not understand where I was wrong. After several years of meticulous research and analysis of training, condition and nutrition, I decided to repeat my experience and smoothly switch to FE again, very carefully monitoring my health indicators. As a result, I did not lose as much weight as the first time, and soon after about a year on FE, I more than regained my weight. As confirmation of my guesses about the need for training on FE, I came across Artem Kushnarev, who by his example finally cemented my faith in fruitarianism.
When you changed your diet, what changed in your life - in your self-perception, in your personal environment, in the social sphere, in your work?Everything changed: after all, fruitarianism is not just another trendy diet, it is a completely new way of life. Life has taken on new colors: positive emotions have become more prevalent. Tastes, smells, sensations are brighter and more memorable
Empathy has developed greatly, this is especially noticeable when someone nearby is sad or, on the contrary, happy. You directly experience it together with this person. It is difficult to control it now
The environment is changing for the better for me: like-minded people are attracted, the rest fall away on their own. I changed jobs 3 years ago, before that I worked as a design engineer for 10 years, and now I work in the dance industry, as I have wanted for a long time. I do not regret anything
What has changed, what has become better or worse. How did you feel physically before and now?It has definitely become better. It has become much easier and faster to train and recover. Sleep, well-being, appearance are the most wonderful. Of the most grandiose achievements in terms of my health - got rid of HPV, allergies, gastritis, VSD, rashes. Now I am watching how the teeth on FE are being restored, which I ruined on other types of nutrition before, and also my temporomandibular joint is in question, which used to click when displaced, and now less often. I have never felt younger. I am sure that this is far from the limit
How did the transition to fruits go at the very beginning? What diet did you start with when you decided to become a fruitarian? In one day or was it a long journey? As I wrote earlier, I switched to fruits twice and always very smoothly and gradually through vegetarianism, veganism and raw foodism. Immediately before the last attempt at fruits, my diet consisted mainly of fruits, but there were green vegetables and root vegetables. Then they fell away, as you understand
What is your deep motivation to stay on fruits or on your type of diet?I don’t even know. No, I probably have no motivation. I already enjoy it all so much: fruits, training, dancing. I don’t need to be forced to do all this. For me, it's completely natural and I have something to compare it to
Your mission in lifeTo make other people happier and healthier, easily and environmentally friendly
Your main life mottoIf you don't try, you won't know
What advice would you give to people who want to switch to fruits, but can't decide or can't?Your path to this diet is unique, approach it creatively and with interest. You don't have to switch to fruits the way I or someone else did, but the end goal is the same for everyone
Your favorite fruit recipe or favorite fruitsI don't mix fruits together and eat each fruit in layers. My favorite fruits are seasonal fruits and those that grow closest to me. It's hard to say for sure, but I'm a big fan of persimmon, melon, watermelon, avocado, apples, tangerines, tomatoes, grapes. I also really love various berries and cherries and cherries are at the top, oddly enough =)
Important, what else would you like to shareI thank everyone involved in the creation of this site and the development of fruitarianism. For those interested in my experience, I broadcast on my Telegram channel, where I talk about my activities, training and nutrition
