About me

About me

What field are you working in now, what do you do?
Research and production: specialist in the department of biological and technological control

What type of diet do you currently adhere to, do you drink water?
Fruitarianism, I drink water

Since what year/month have you been on this type of diet?
100% - since 01.07.2024, before that, raw foodism was not long ago, and before that, veganism

What led you to this way of eating, what inspired you?
Studying the effect of food on our body

And what continues to inspire you now?
The realization that fruits are food that does not kill me. I have been looking for such a

What difficulties did you encounter along the way?
There were no particular difficulties when I fully felt how alien other food was to my body. But it took a month to adjust, I did not want to immediately give up raw bread that is made in a dehydrator, because they were salty and gave me a feeling of satiety. Now I replace them with avocado with chili pepper and tomato

When I changed my diet, what changed in your life - in your self-perceptions, in your personal environment, in the social sphere, in work?
I felt freedom. If on veganism I depended on tasty food and actively looked for cafes and recipes, and also encountered misunderstandings (I eat the same as others, but in a vegan version, why do I need this, etc.), now everything is organic and I don’t need to explain anything to anyone. And in stores, I’m only interested in the fruit and vegetable section, it saves time (I used to be unhappy that there was nothing vegan or without heat treatment, I spent a long time looking for hummus, tofu or flaxseed bread)).
Otherwise, little has changed so far, because I have little experience

What has changed, what has become better or worse. How did you feel physically before and now?
So far, I have little experience, so it's too early to say. But there is one observation. On veganism and raw food, I combined sugars with fats and felt thirsty at night, especially in the summer. I had to get up for water many times. I took a blood test, fructosamine (the amount of glucose in the blood combined with proteins) was elevated
I note that this refers to natural sugars and fats, I gave up added sugar and its analogues, as well as margarine and vegetable fat back in 2018.
How did I switch to fruits, my thirst decreased

How was the period of transition to fruits at the very beginning? With what diet did you decide to become a fruitarian? In one day or was this path stretched out?
I decided to become one at the end of May, I became one on the first of July) I switched from veganism first to a raw food diet, then to fruitarianism

What is your deep motivation to stay on fruits or on your type of diet?
Stay healthy, don't age, have energy for life + love for animals and plants

Your mission in life
I don't know yet

Your main life motto
Sincerity, independence, justice

What advice would you give to people who want to switch to fruits, but don't dare or can't?
Realize: our body is most affected by what we put in it; our body is built from this. It depends only on us what our body and mind will be like now and in the future
If you fully feel this and at the same time know what is really good for you and what is harmful, then at one point you simply won't be able to put any heat-treated food or, for example, seeds in your mouth. Tested on myself)

Your favorite fruit recipe or favorite fruits
Azerbaijani tomatoes, bananas, Sukkari dates
