About me

What are your hobbies in life, how do you like to spend your time?
Sports - tabata, yoga, light strength training
Hiking, swimming
Going to massages and saunas
Fruit cooking, traveling

What field are you currently working in, what do you do?
Specialist in targeted advertising FB, Instagram
I help in creating and optimizing stores on Shopify

Do you share the philosophy of fruitarianism, even if your diet now does not consist only of fruits?
Yes

What type of diet do you currently adhere to, do you drink water?
Fruits. I drink water very rarely, when there is no alternative in the form of juicy fruits or juice. I do not recommend drinking water

Since what year / month have you been on this type of diet?
Since March 2016, 80-90% fruits
Since the end of 2021, on pure FE

What led you to this way of eating, what inspired you?
Since childhood, I was interested in the topic of nutrition, I felt that the cause of physical ailments for the most part lies in this area. From the age of 10, I gave up chips and sausages, and when at 18 I learned about fruit eating, I realized that this is exactly what I was looking for
I was even more inspired by the cure for chronic eczema and most of the symptoms of VSD (Vegetative-vascular dystonia)

Later, in addition to the physiological aspect, I came to the philosophy of FE

And what continues to inspire now?
Good health, gradual improvements in physical performance, the environment and lifestyle that I am starting to like more and more.
I am interested to know what will happen next

What difficulties did you have on this path?
In the beginning, I was completely surrounded by people who ate traditionally, I did not dare to change my environment
It was difficult to say goodbye to the tastes and aesthetics of cooking, since I devoted a significant part of my professional activity to the catering industry
There were difficulties in terms of communication - I could not go to a cafe with colleagues or friends, because I needed to order food
I could not share the joy of dinner with a loved one or a family feast
It was difficult to say goodbye to the people I love in order to start a new life

When you changed your diet, what changed in your life - in your self-perception, in your personal environment, in the social sphere, at work?
It seems that everything changed - family, environment, country, lifestyle, way of thinking. I started with a clean slate and am gradually creating a lifestyle that is most suitable for my type of diet

What has changed, what has become better or worse. How did you feel physically before and now?
Physical well-being is getting better, hormonal levels have changed, sensitivity in all aspects has increased
There were some issues with hair loss and tooth sensitivity at the initial stage, but over time this is resolved and largely depends on the psychological state

How was the transition to fruits at the very beginning? What diet did you decide to become a fruitarian with? In one day or was this path stretched out?
At the very beginning, I learned about raw foodism, but I did not like eating sprouted buckwheat and making green smoothies, so I intuitively left fruits in my diet, a few months later I learned that there is such a direction as FE
I made the decision in 1 day, but the path to pure FE took about 6 years

What is your deep motivation to stay on fruits or on your type of nutrition?
Not to harm yourself and the world. To be healthy. Find out what will happen next

What advice would you give to people who want to switch to fruits, but can't decide or can't?
Understand why you need this specifically, if there is no sincere answer - just continue to observe the sensations, communicate with people who are already on this path. Stop forcing yourself, move at your own pace, don't count on it happening quickly, learn to feel, love yourself
