About me
What are your hobbies in life? How do you like to spend your time?
I love aesthetics and all things beautiful, so I've been drawing since childhood. I studied painting professionally at the Art Academy, as well as Graphic Design. I'm currently interested in dynamic stretching, functional training, and fruit-based nutrition.
I love nature, people, traveling, learning languages, and I love beautiful music.
What field are you currently working in? What do you do?
Design, training
What type of diet do you currently follow? Do you drink water?
Pure fruit-based nutrition
What year/month have you been on this diet?
Since the beginning of 2021
What led you to this way of eating, what inspired you?
Curiosity, love of nature, a practical and logical approach to everything, and not-so-great health and mental health at age 20.
And what continues to inspire you now?
Now, the very idea of becoming the best version of yourself, inspiring and helping others, inspires me.
What challenges have you faced along the way?
It's not always easy to change your old way of thinking, leave your old environment, and break ties with what's holding you back—childhood habits, beliefs. Old destructive mental programs, which everyone has, still get in the way, and I'm still on this path.
When you changed your diet, what changed in your life—in your self-perception, your personal network, your social life, your work?
My environment has completely changed, my work sphere has partially changed. According to self-hypnosis, I've become more honest, open, not always, but more self-confident, and I've come to love people and live interactions more.
What has changed, what has gotten better or worse? How did you feel physically before and now?
My mental state is the biggest plus and bonus, in my opinion. I've become more balanced and calm; I rarely experience depression or apathy, even though that was once my daily reality. My headaches, which had plagued me since early childhood, have disappeared, and now I almost never get sick, not with viruses, infections, or colds. It's very easy for me to get up every morning without an alarm clock and exercise; my body recovers very quickly on this diet. My rashes and unpleasant body odors have disappeared. I feel alive and light, just as the creator intended.
How was the transition to fruit at the very beginning? What kind of diet did you start with when you decided to become a fruitarian? Did it happen overnight, or was it a long journey?
At first, I gave up meat, sugar, and the most unhealthy foods (fried and fatty foods) because I was experiencing frequent headaches, colds, and migraines, and I was feeling unwell. Then I gave up dairy because I was doing a lot of research on veganism and nutrition in general and realized how negatively dairy was affecting my skin. After two years of being vegan, I learned about a whole plant-based diet and started eating a lot of raw plant foods. After a few months, I gave up salt, and very quickly my diet was essentially 90% raw food (vegetables and fruits). Then I had a period of about nine months of raw food, but with nuts. Once I eliminated nuts and dried fruits and greens, which made me feel uncomfortable and heavy, I began eating only fruits. That was in the spring, three years ago, and a fruitarian diet is still the ideal diet for me. I don't want to go back yet, and I don't plan to.
What's your deepest motivation for sticking with fruit or your diet?
To not be a parasite or a pest on this planet, to feel connected to the world, to feel your place as a human being, as a species, to keep your body healthy so that you can fulfill your soul's desires through it.
Your mission in life
I haven't fully figured this out yet.
Your main life motto
To be in love with yourself and this life. To be grateful.
What advice would you give to people who want to switch to fruit but are hesitant or can't make it?
First, thoroughly research this topic and issue so that there are no questions or doubts, but a firm understanding and decision.
Second, understand whether it's necessary and, if so, why. You need to be prepared to go through a difficult journey to overcome food cravings and addictions, which everyone who eats cooked, salty, fatty, sugary foods, etc., experiences. Don't try to do everything perfectly right away. You need to understand that this isn't an easy path, and setting too high standards for yourself can lead to failure. It's better to gradually introduce whole plant foods into your diet, without stressing yourself or your psyche.
Your favorite fruit recipe or favorite fruits
I don't really like mixing fruits; I prefer to savor and experience the flavor of each fruit individually.
Mango, pappaya, durian, longan, passion fruit, jackfruit, and mulberry are top picks. Mango is my favorite right now; I could eat it all day long. That's how it was in Thailand. Unfortunately, they're not available in Ukraine right now.
Anything else you'd like to share?
I really want this topic to gain popularity, because fruits are the future and truly bring life.
